The front of the new luxury train (2003)
60 seats, enough for the little branch line. Depart time is near. I got a picture of the gate, too fast, sorry, I canīt take a new one.
Somebody was at the station. A gate-watcher, just like 50 years ago on my home railway in the childhood.
The train runs in an insane speed: 80 km./t., rocking too and froo, up and down. The track is very bad, the sleepers are nearly without gravel, just laying on the ground. It looks like a close-down, and it is a pity, because this line is a great treasure.
Inside the train. The driver has a list. He is counting the numbers of passengers. We are four.There is a fine W.C. in the round part. Suddenly we hear a terrible whiste, which could be heard in a distance of 5 miles. We are coming to a little halt: La Ganterie. There is no station signboard.
Now again:Chabris, now from the opposite direction, and again: crossing trains.Gravel can be seen under the sleepers. Automatic gates. We are returning back to the civilisation.
