Le Blanc-Argent 4
-starting in Gièvres, looking at the station and beginning the dangerous trip-
Here We are in Gièvres, our train from Tours was a kind of railbus, quite modern, fast running, excellent and noiseless. we are going to wait for half an hour, time enough to have a cup of coffee and a look at the buildings.

The station in Gièvres is a typically SNCF land station, nice, well treated, little, but big enough.

Here is the station from the platform side. Salbris to the left and Luçay-le-Mâle to the right.

From the street side. Saturday afternoon, half past four. Still open in the ticket office.

West side with platform tunnel to track 2 and 3 the narrow gauged line.

Our train from Tours, now leaving the platform in his way to Vierzon. The narrow gauged line to the left. The warehouse to the right.

Sitting in the café, a big passenger train is running by in direction Vierzon. I tell the host, we have come all the way from Denmark to make an article about the Blanc-Argent train. He is impressed. We need to go to our train, or else, we need to come again monday.
