THE ALKMAAR WINDMILL
I came passing by the Kinderdijk in Holland and saw

And as a model, only 100£

Something for my gardenrailway, even if I do not want anything but trains, I thought. Unfortenately, I was trawelling by aeroplane, train and bus, so I couldn´t take the mill with me. I had to make one of my own.

Such a windmill is easy to make. The under part is made of a block of light concreate, sawn in one pice. The upper part is made of aluminium, plexiglass and roofing-felt. The ladder and the small things on the backside of the mill is made of plastic. The millwings have been cut out of a plastic basket. A motor is placed in the top section of the millhouse. The scale is 1:22,5 and the unit of measurement on the workshop drawing is in millimeter.
