HOW TO MAKE A LOCOMOTIVE
2-axled, in an easy way.
First of all, You need an engine, best a LGB 66095 or 96095, or an used one for example from a LGB Schoema 20604 og a Stainz 21201. Make a box of plastic cart so it fits to the motorblock as shown. Make a hole in the top of the box for a screw as shown, to fix it to the body if You want it turnable. Else You can fix it with small screws on the side of the motorbloc. Take care, that You donīt dammage the motor or its parts. You canīt regret.

Now, letīs arrange the front and backlights with automatic shift for lights in the travel direction. Best to do it now, later on will be difficult. I have used yellow and red 5mm two-electrode valves and a resistor of 680 ohm.

How to place the wires on an 2061 B07 LGB motorblock.
Then You can place the body on the motorblock and go. But how to make the body. You need a workshop drawing. You may use mine drawing1 and drawing2, but I doubt that You will build a danish locomotive, so You need to have a drawing from Your own favorite locomotive. I have made my locomotive by using plastic card in this model, even I prefer to use aluminium. Plastic card is easier to use, aluminium can better resists a football. You can use this way to build, even if You want to make a diesel multiple unit, just take care that You make the motorblock turnable. I have used this way in many of my models, have a look in the gallery and, at any time You have the rigth to send me a question. You will find my mail adress on the entrance page. I want You a good plasure!
