BANGKOK 3
Last day. We have a taxi all day. We are going to see the floating market, the crocodile farm and the Wongwian and makkasan railway stations. Unfortunately we spended so much time at the crocodiles, that we returned to Bangkok in the rush hour, a few hours before darkness. We had no time to search the Wongwian r.s., so we went to Makkasan, it is on the way to the airport.

Just in time for a train.

The wagons are quite used, but not 3.classes.

A rail for the harbour is turning off just before the station and it seems to be used.

Elder materiels on the other side of the station. Not allowed to get inside.

Our taxidriver is wondering why we are going to see trains and stations. He has newer drived for trainfans before. I can only explain it for him in this way, that I´m writing for a magazine. We are on our way to the airport.Withour request the driver turns his car into a park Chatuchak. Here are some elder trains exposed. The locomotive is a Mitshubishi, builded in 1950 and scraped in1973.

More to look at. But why do they have trains in a park?

An explanation comes, when we have driven a few roads and came to a big building:

It is the Thailand railway club. A kind of a workshop and a museum. Closed at workdays, open at Sundays. We are trying to take pictures through the dirty windows.

That´s itDet var så det. A last view on a metric rail and a crane the taxi runs to the airport. If we just had a day more!
